What is the speed limit in the resort?
The speed limit throughout the resort is 10 MPH. Please drive cautiously for the safety of all guests and pets
Are pets allowed at Beach House Cottage Retreat
Yes! We allow a maximum of two pets per site. Pets must be non-aggressive, leashed at all times, and cleaned up after immediately.
What are the quiet hours?
Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be respectful of your neighbors during this time
How many people can stay on a site?
Rates are based on double occupancy (two adults, one of whom must be 55 years or older). Additional guests may be permitted with an extra fee.
Do guests need to register?
Yes. All overnight guests must be registered at the park office before their stay.
Is Beach House Cottage Retreat an adult community?
Yes, we are a 55+ community. Visiting children are welcome but must be supervised at all times and may stay for a maximum of two weeks.
Check-In & Check-Out
What are the check-in and check-out times?
- Check-in: 1:00 PM
- Check-out: 11:00 AM
What if I arrive after office hours?
For late arrivals (after 3:00 PM), call the office at 727-628-4885 before 3:00 PM to make arrangements. Drive-ups without reservations are not permitted after business hours.
Resort Rules & Regulations
Are golf carts or motorcycles allowed?
No. Golf carts, scooters, motorcycles, pop-up campers, and tents are not permitted within the resort.
Can I hang clothes to dry at my site?
No. Hanging clothes outside is not allowed at your site, but we do provide designated clotheslines near the laundry facilities.
Can I store items under or around my trailer?
No. Storage of personal items under or around trailers is not permitted to maintain a clean and organized appearance.
Are storage sheds allowed?
Yes, but all storage sheds must be approved by the office before installation.
Can I alter my site (e.g., add pavers, decks, or plant trees)?
All site alterations, including pavers, decks, parking spots, shrubs, trees, screen rooms, and enclosures, require prior approval from the office.
Can I wash my vehicle or trailer at my site?
No. Auto and trailer washing is not permitted. Additionally, please conserve water, as utility costs impact rental rates.
Are fire pits allowed?
No wood-burning fire pits are allowed. Propane fire pits must be approved by management.
What happens if a guest disturbs the peace?
Guests must conduct themselves in a respectful manner at all times. Any disruptive behavior, excessive noise, or violations of resort rules may result in removal from the resort.
Can I sell my RV and transfer ownership?
Yes, but all ownership transfers require approval by management. Please note that the lot is not included in the sale.
Do I need to follow posted pool rules?
Yes. Please obey all posted pool rules to ensure safety and enjoyment for all guests.
